Essential Requirements

*Knowledge and experience of UPS technology

*Proven record of achievement in a solution sales capacity – preferably within the UPS sector

*Northern based – Anywhere north of Birmingham/Leicester/Peterborough – Not Scotland.

*Full UK driving licence required

The Package

*c.£50k starting basic salary (negotiable dependent upon experience)

*20% Annual bonus

The Role

Airports, data processing centers, factories and hospitals must protect themselves against power failure to prevent disasters. Large uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) provide this protection and our client are the largest manufacturer of these.

As an Area Sales Engineer for our client, you will be responsible for offering UPS solutions to the aforementioned sectors. You will be responsible for a geographical area that covers everywhere and including the Midlands. You will walk into an area that has a high number of untouched leads as well as a solid customer base that are due to be upgraded.

In exchange for thew ‘warm’ leads and exisiting customer base, our client will expect you to proactively target and approach new business in the area. With ‘average’ sales values around the £200k mark, this is a great opportunity to establish yourself with a globally renowned organisation.
