Reporting to the Service Manager. Your Duties will be mostly performing the Planned Preventative Maintenance over the weekends at a large Automotive plant in Oxford.
You will ideally have experience performing a hands on, electrically bias maintenance role within the automotive sector. Any Robot / automation experience would be advantageous, basic programming etc.
The right candidate will need to be very flexible in their approach to work, able to communicate with others well and effectively plan their day.
You will be 99% based on a Large automotive site in Oxford. You will be providing support over all the departments including BIW / Paint shop and Press Shop that have any automation / Robotic equipment.
You will work 8 hours Friday & Monday and 12 hours Sat & Sunday – 40 total.
You will need to have a great attitude towards the industry and be eager to learn new skills. You need to be flexible and ambitious and be able to represent the business in a professional manner.
This role will turn into a week based role after 2 years should you want that. There is lots of progression within this department and opportunities to work all over the country.
Responsibilities will include :
Provide Technical support for both the team where needed and customers alike
Performs Service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in any Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions,
upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.).
Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative
Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions
Proactively identifies suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicates them further.
Ensure the company’s processes are being adhered too.
Be aware of and manage environmental risks where needed.
Formal Electrical, Mechanical or software qualifications
Ability to do technical reports and fault find.
Paint process/equipment knowledge ideal
Great attention to detail
Needs to be very well organised.
knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel
Clean full driving licence
Fluent written & spoken English
£5,000 Uplift ( paid monthly )
