Are you a degree qualified Process Engineer, Process Safety Engineer or Process Safety Consultant within the Oil & Gas, Chemical or Pharmaceutical industry? Do you have knowledge and experience of applying risk management tools and techniques? A degree in an engineering or scientific discipline (Chemical Engineering desirable)
Minimum of 4/5 years experience within the Chemical or Oil & Gas industries
Previous or current experience as a Process Engineer
Chartered with an appropriate Institution
Knowledge of process safety methods including gas dispersion (PHAST), fault tree analysis, Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), Hazard studies, COMAH and Occupied Building Risk Assessment
Professional Process Safety Engineer, or in the process of applying
Experience of working in from of the Competent Authority.

Process Safety Consultant with knowledge of applying risk management tools and techniques. Able to demonstrate a good level of technical knowledge in the area of Process Safety and able to communicate this knowledge to clients when carrying out risk assessments.
Is able to present at events and has excellent communication skills, delivers SLS training courses as a practitioner
Demonstrates excellent customer focus and takes ownership of assigned work
Comfortable with working in a clients organization as the only person present from our client
Is able to travel as required in the role, both in the UK and overseas if ever required
Methodical & good grasp of software tools
Likely to have (or the ability to achieve) a level of Contract Management responsibilities and hence be accountable for contract performance (WIP, margin etc.)
Able to make contacts at a technical level in in client organisations and develop practicable solutions to client problems.
