Operations Manager – Hard FM

Accredited world leading professional services company supporting businesses with quality, compliance and high technical inspections of lifting and pressure equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Utilising your experience of leading high profile, multi-site contracts for hard FM services, you will lead a regional team of around 50 engineers in the delivery of first class testing and inspection services. It’s essential therefore that, with the support of regional Team Leaders, you are able to engage with and inspire this team and deal with a fast paced organisation.
Building key internal relationships with peers, sales, bids and planning teams.
Visiting an incredibly broad range of industries including major construction/infrastructure sites, automotive plants, manufacturing facilities, power generation sites, industrial ports and blue chip retail chains in order to manage and build on relationships.
The success of the role lies in your ability to deliver customer service excellence through adherence to KPIs outlined in the various SLAs and the development of exceptional relationships. We’re seeking high levels of positivity and for you to be client centred. You’ll search for ways to exceed expectations and use your strategic thinking to determine new areas of opportunity for the team.
The role is home based with you taking ownership of your own diary. You’ll cover the South West region and travel broadly to meet with key clients, other business stakeholders and your team.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
5+ years experience managing regional P&L of £1m – £5m
Hard FM background
Proven ability to win and retain business
Experience managing multiple large clients / accounts simultaneously
HNC / Level 4 qualification or higher in an engineering discipline
RICS member / BIFM or similar professional membership
