Do you have working knowledge and experience of control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, Industrial Networks etc.)? Are you able to work an ‘on call’ rota that will see you having to travel offshore semi-regularly?

Essential Requirements

 Strong application background – Practical, hands-on experience with control systems
 Working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, Industrial Networks and Cyber Security
 A willingness to learn and ability to innovate
 Willing to be ‘on-call’ and flexible to travel off shore when required (same day sometimes!)

Desirable Requirements

Practical, hands-on experience
Offshore certification

 Cyber Security awareness

 Knowledge of Process control and loop performance

 Functional Safety certification

Starting salary £40-50k +On-call rate (tbc)

The Role

To ensure our clients service portfolio is delivered effectively according to standard processes and safety guidelines to satisfy customers. Execute technical support, act as specialist and solve problems in own expertise area. Proactively communicate with both the customer and our clients sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for Service growth.

Gain an understanding of our client’s Industrial Automation systems

Work closely with a team of software engineers

Understand and update existing hardware and software modules for the development and maintenance of our client’s Control System products

Produce documentation (Site Visit Reports, RAM’s, PM Procedures)

Conduct the assurance, integration and testing of hardware and software modules

Deliver updates to the existing products and roll out new products through working closely with different stakeholders, including the customer and the end user

Support Bids and Proposals team in generation of quotations

Time & budget management as per contract requirements

Be available on an ‘on call’ basis to advise customers out of hours and, if necessary, make unscheduled site visits

Advises clients as to maintenance procedures, site planning, operational methods, process measurement and control strategies and schemes

Promotes sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advises Sales department of possible sales leads

Regular onshore/offshore site visits to conduct PM and CM activities
